We are now booked for all weddings for 2026.  This includes all stacked cakes.  You are welcome to order product from our regular menus for dessert buffets, cupcakes, basic cakes etc for your event when the dates open for regular ordering.  We open dates for ordering 4-6 weeks out at a time and you will find how long ordering is open through in the header at the top of the website.

 

Dates that will not be available for any product to be ordered are June 21-29, September 19, November 22-30 and December 21-January 5, 2027

General Information

At Country Cakes and Bakes we aim to deliver the most delicious, simply decorated wedding cakes, cupcakes, dessert buffets, wedding favors and more. We offer elegant cake designs that are decorated with all frosting.  You may choose a smooth icing or an eye-appealing texture. We welcome the addition of fresh or artificial flowers, ribbon or toppers to finish off and put your own personal touch on the finished product.  Maybe for ease of serving, choose cupcakes or fill a dessert table with your favorite sweets to share with your guests.  Whatever you choose, we are here to help you make it memorable and perfect for you.

 

Cake

All round tiers of wedding cakes are three layers of cake with two layers of frosting or filling.  All fillings and frostings are included in the pricing.

We offer a two tier stacked cake.  This is a 6" cake on a 9" cake.  You can choose to serve it all or serve the bottom and save the top for your first anniversary.  You would get 38 servings out of both tiers or 26 servings out of the bottom tier.  This is 125.00 using our designs or 150.00+ for customized design.

Another option is to get larger tiers that are displayed on cake stands or in a way you choose.  We do not stack beyond 2 tiers.  You can get stands of varying height to display them on your dessert table and make things easier for cutting.  See pictures below for inspiration.

Designs

All of the cake designs shown below are included in the pricing provided.  If you are wanting to add flowers (real or artificial), ribbon, cake topper or any other physical add-ons to the cake, that is something that you would provide.  **If you have a different design that is not pictured and would like to customize the cake further it is $15-45 more per tier.

Sheet Cakes

Sheet cakes are a great cost-effective way to add servings to your big day.  Our sheet cakes are two layers of cake with a layer of filling or frosting so that you can do the same delicious flavors as the round cakes for all of your guests.   All sheet cakes are  offered scored for cutting with a garnish on each individual piece unless otherwise desired.  See picture below for garnish ideas.  These are great because you know that it will be easily cut correctly, can be ready to serve as soon as it is time to serve dessert and will have a nice elegant look.

Cake Flavor Options

All flavors can be mixed and matched to create your favorite combo.  All flavors are included in pricing as we want you to choose delicious flavors to share with your guests!  On cakes, vanilla buttercream must be used as the outside finished frosting.  Cream cheese will be used as a filling.  For example if you choose red velvet cake, the cake would be three layers of red cake with two layers of cream cheese frosting and then the outside decor would be vanilla buttercream.

Cupcakes

Cupcakes are available in the flavors listed below and are $18/dozen. We offer them with no topper or with a topper to correspond with the flavor. For example, a dollop of raspberry marmalade and a slice of almond on the almond raspberry or chocolate curls on the chocolate cupcake. You can mix and match the cupcake with the frostings to make your favorite combinations. Fudge truffle is not available as a filling on the cupcakes, instead we would use chocolate buttercream.  The raspberry marmalade is the only “filling” and would be put on as a thin layer under the frosting on top of the cupcake.  Our cupcakes are only baked in a white tulip cup.   All of our cakes are from scratch and need the walls of the cupcake paper to make a substantial cupcake worth enjoying.  Click here to see our cupcake menu to see the flavors and look of our cupcakes.

Wedding Favors

We offer a variety of options that can be packaged individually to send your guest home with a small token of appreciation that won't go to waste.  Choose from a mini sugar cookie iced simply, a larger sugar cookie customized with a flower to match your wedding, a beautiful monogram or maybe send them home with a couple of your favorite chocolate chip cookies.  We'd love to chat about the options with you.  Let us take the stress from you and pick them up in one stop with your wedding desserts!

 

 

Do we offer delivery?

We look forward to being a part of your special day but as a small operation just do not have the manpower to deliver.  We will make sure all product, cakes, cupcakes etc. are packaged securely and protected ready for that friend, aunt and uncle or co-worker who really wants to help you out for your big day to pick up and bring to their final destination.  If possible, we do suggest pick up the day of your event.  In the event that you need to pick up the day before, please realize that cakes, cupcakes and cheesecakes will need room for refrigeration.  We can help you figure out what type of space you will need to have!

That’s great news! Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your special day.  Please double check that your wedding date is available and then we'd love to hear from you.  Send us an email at countrycakesandbakes@gmail.com including your wedding date, your phone number and best time to reach you.  We will reach out to you within 48 hours to arrange the contract and will send an online invoice for the $50 non refundable deposit to hold your spot on the calendar.

 Correspondence

To help plan your special day, you will be working with Beth and Gypsy.  We will try to keep most of the correspondence in email so that we have documentation of conversations and information to refer back to for both of us and you. We realize that you have many things that you are planning and it can be information overload and overwhelming so having a place to refer back to is helpful for all of us!  We are also more readily available to contact by email with busy schedules and non-traditional business hours.  When necessary or easier, we will also be happy to chat over the phone when we are working at the bakery or you can stop in as well.  We are here to make this an easy, fun process and look forward to being a sweet spot in your special day!
