Wedding Cakes

General Information

At Country Cakes and Bakes we aim to deliver the most delicious, simply decorated wedding cakes. We offer elegant designs that are all frosting, no fondant. We can get them smooth as glass or with an eye-appealing texture. We welcome the addition of fresh or artificial flowers, ribbon or toppers. These items would be provided by you so that they match your decorations perfectly. We like to have artificial flowers or ribbon two weeks prior to the wedding. Toppers and fresh flowers can be put on at the wedding venue.

Tiered Cakes

All tiers of cake are three layers of cake with two layers of frosting or filling. We offer them only stacked directly onto each other with the proper supports in two or three tier sizes. We do not cover any cakes in fondant.  We also only offer our buttercream as the outside frosting.  Cream cheese frosting can be used as a filling only. See the pictures on this page for examples of our best work and the style of cake that we can provide! Flavors and pricing are listed below. Feel free to mix and match the cake flavors and fillings/frostings to create your favorite!

Sheet Cakes

Sheet cakes are a great cost-effective way to add servings to your big day. They are a three layer cake with two layers of frosting or filling.

Cupcakes are available in the flavors listed below and are $24/dozen. We offer them with no topper or decoration or with a topper to correspond with the flavor. For example, a fresh raspberry and a slice of almond on the almond raspberry or chocolate curls on the chocolate cupcake. You can mix and match the cupcake with the frostings to make your favorite combinations. The raspberry marmalade is the only “filling” and would be put on as a thin layer under the frosting on top of the cupcake.

Dessert Bars

Cake Tasting Plates

If you are interested in sampling our cakes, we offer tasting plates that can be picked up at the bakery during our retail hours. The tasting plates are $15.00. If you decide to book your special day with us, the $15.00 will be applied to your deposit. You will receive a sampling of our most popular combinations. That’s great news! Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your special day.  Please double check our booked dates below to make sure that yours is still available!

The best way to place your deposit is to fill out this form and email it to countrycakesandbakes@gmail.com. We will get you an invoice as soon as possible. If you have pictures or description of what decor you are interested in for the cake, attach those as well.

Someone will get back to you within a couple of days to get things going! If you would rather give us a call and chat over the phone, we are happy to hear from you during our retail hours. For orders under $100, payment is due in full at booking. For orders over $100, it is a $50 deposit to save your date on the calendar. Deposits are non refundable. Final balance is due two weeks prior to your wedding day.
